Coaching

The goals of URA softball are to teach the fundamentals of the game, improve skills of the players and team, learn good teamwork and sportsmanship, foster a love for the game, instill confidence, and develop resilient players who are able to overcome obstacles and rise above their challenges, all in the context of a structured, focused and fun atmosphere. Coaching is a great way to spend time helping the community and help our ladies in the area grow in softball.

In order to sign up as a coach, when registering your daughter for a season you will be provided volunteer options. All positions require proper background checks. More information can be located on the coaching requirements and background checks page.

Parent Helpers

The role of parent helpers are to help organize team activities and events during the season. Simple stuff like helping organize snacks and refreshments on long/hot days or end of the season parties. Sometimes they may be asked by the coaching staff to help ensure the team is staying in the dugout and playing field during official practices and games. They are not expected to become directly involved in softball activities.

Special Projects

We're seeking enthusiastic organizers to lead our softball fundraising efforts. If you have a knack for planning events and rallying support, join our team to make a big impact. Together, we can provide more opportunities for our players.

Sponsorships

URA is looking for sponsors to support our softball program. Your sponsorship can help provide equipment, uniforms, and more. Join us in promoting youth sports and community engagement. Please consider sponsoring a Fall Ball 2024 team to support the girls and increase visibility of your organization within the community.
